Session Description
The preschool age is an important window into a child’s life for introducing key Christian principles. Discover methods for instilling these principles into the lives of preschoolers during this key time in the development of their faith.
Susan Shadid
The daughter of missionaries, Susan Shadid spent 22 years teaching in public schools. She joined the Willow Creek Community Church Promiseland staff full-time in 1996. She is the Director of Training for Promiseland and has a passion to see volunteers grow in their teaching and shepherding skills. She has been involved in curriculum development, staff development, and training. Her knowledge and experiences have enabled her to integrate educational research, design, and development into the curriculum and all areas of training within Promiseland.
A world traveler, Susan is always eager to jump in a car or hop on a plane (or a camel) to explore different places and meet new people. She has visited 28 countries, sometimes serving, sometimes teaching, but always learning. Doing life with family and friends, learning and interacting with her nephews and nieces are some of her greatest pleasures. She volunteers as a teacher and in content development in the Spiritual Mentoring ministry at Willow Creek.
