Session Description
Sometimes everything just clicks. The music, the message, the moments… they all lead to a beautiful family experience. And sometimes they just don’t! What makes the difference? Come hear about past successes, failures and learning experiences that have shaped how Willow Creek Community Church now communicates to the family. ![]() Pat Cimo Pat Cimo joined the staff at Willow Creek Community Church almost 20 years ago as the Associate Director of the Promiseland, Willow’s children’s ministry. In 2005 she assumed her current role as Director of Spiritual Formation leading creative teams in the development of resources and experiences designed to move families and individuals forward in their spiritual journey. When she is not in strategy and management meetings around Willow, you can find Pat with one of the many members of her extended family or sharing time with husband Dave, daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Denis, and her son, Scott, and his soon-to-be wife, Ashley. ![]() Dave Huber After graduating from Belfast Elementary School (Calgary, AB) and some other stuff later on in life, Dave has spent the past 16 years investing in the spiritual formation of children and families. Currently the creative director of the Family Experience at Willow Creek Community Church (South Barrington, IL), Dave works to increase the relational equity and Biblical literacy of families church-wide. He has written no books and is rarely quoted, but has two insanely active kids (Dakoda 10, Skylar 8) and the most patient wife (Nicole) on the planet. ![]() Holly Laurant During Holly’s nine year tenure at Willow Creek Community Church, she has contributed to the Promiseland Ministry, the FX Family Ministry, and the Church’s Creative Programming Department. In 2007 she earned her Masters Degree in Inter-Disciplinary Arts from Columbia College in Chicago. She is a house member of the Second City and the Improv Olympic Theater where she teaches and performs Improv and Sketch Comedy. She lives near Wrigley Field in Chicago where she loves riding her bike, yoga, and daydreaming about horses. Her desire is to use the power of “Story” to stir people’s hearts for lives of greater compassion, wholeness and redemption. http://www.willowcreek.org/ |
