Jon Buller
“I love music and I love God. The natural intersection for me then is writing and singing music about God, to God and for God.”
Jon Buller has been doing precisely that for more than 10 years through the release of 9 CD’s and a live concert DVD. In addition to the life of recording, promoting and touring, Jon founded Hear the Music Ministries, which provided a city-wide monthly worship night for 10 years in his home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Hear the Music Nights are held a few times each year in Winnipeg as well as Vernon, BC. HTM Nights carry out the vision of the ministry, to lift up the name of Jesus so He will draw people to Himself (John 12:32).
Jon has a gift for creating and presenting songs that will inspire and challenge, and he leads worship with a clear humility and evident joy. It is the intersection of a personal passion for God and a musical skill that results in an honest and intimate worship experience for all.
Jon is also a committed father and husband, and in 2005 made a move with his family to Vernon, BC where he is currently working as the Pastor of Worship & Arts at Vernon Alliance Church. He continues to nurture and invest in the communities of southern Manitoba and the BC Okanagan, as well as reaching the rest of Canada, US and eastern Europe through resources such as Songbooks, CD’s and DVD’s.
