Session Description
We all know that small groups are intended to connect people so they can grow spiritually. But have you ever considered how people grow or that there are different types of learning to foster the growth we want to see in people’s lives? In this session we will be looking at the way Jesus grew his disciples and discuss how we can leverage unique and powerful opportunities for our group members to grow, beyond traditional curricula or lesson plans.
Ben Lockyer
A human relations grad, Ben’s job is to see people capitalize on the gift of the relationships in their lives to grow spiritually. He oversees the entire Life Team ministry and care support structure at Southridge Community Church, as well as the outreach ministry as its interim director. Ben’s contribution to the Management Team serves to constantly push his church to new levels of effectiveness. He and his wife Tracey have three children, Caleb, Samuel and Eden.
