Recording artist, author, speaker and college instructor, Surrey, BC. Carolyn Arends is known for messages, songs, and books that stir the soul, and a warm, engaging style that leaves her audiences feeling like they’ve found a new best friend. Fifteen of Carolyn’s songs have become Top 10 radio singles on the Canadian pop and US Christian charts. Carolyn has earned two Dove Awards, three Juno Nominations, and was recognized as the West Coast Music Awards’ Songwriter of the Year.
In addition to her busy touring and speaking schedule, Carolyn is a regular columnist for Christianity Today and is a college instructor at Pacific Life Bible College. She has a degree in Psychology and English from Trinity Western University and is pursuing graduate studies in theology at Regent College. Carolyn and her husband Mark live in Surrey, BC with their children, Ben (9) and Bethany (6).

Spencer Capier
Spencer has been playing and producing music in Vancouver, BC and around the world for nearly twenty years. He is most often found touring with recording artist Carolyn Arends, winner of the West Coast Music Awards Songwriter of the Year and the American Dove Awards. When not on the road or in the studio with Carolyn, he works extensively with Vancouver’s Pacific Theatre as an actor, musician and music director. He has played on hundreds of albums, working in studios in Vancouver, Nashville, and Los Angeles, including Grammy Award winning Jennifer Knapp.
