Session Description
Music is a powerful tool in children’s lives, so we need to be intentional about how we select music for different age levels and have clear goals for music we use. Lynae will help you identify who should be on the worship team and how to coach and develop them. This TOOL Session will help make it clear, why we do worship in children’s ministry and how to develop the team that leads the worship.
Lynae Igel
Lynae has been involved in children's ministry for over 11 years, both as a volunteer and on a church staff. She was a children’s intern for two summers at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Surrey, BC. She has also served at Trinity Baptist Church in Kelowna, BC for five years as the children’s program director. Currently, Lynae is the pastor of children’s ministries at Mission Creek Alliance Church in Kelowna.
Lynae is energetic, dynamic and outgoing and loves building relationships with children as well as offering opportunities for them to use the gifts that God has given them. She desires to be a part of a children’s team that has a passion for leading children to not only make a decision for Jesus, but to grow in their relationship and discover more of who Jesus is.
